Nicolet Theater's 2019-2020 Season
Little Shop of Horrors
Seymour Krelborn is a meek and dejected assistant at a floral shop who happens upon a strange plant, which he affectionately names “Audrey II” after his crush at the shop. Little does he know that this strange and unusual plant will develop a soulful R&B voice, a potty mouth, and an unquenchable thirst for HUMAN BLOOD.
An adaptation of J. M. Barrie's story about a boy who never grew up. The three children of the Darling family receive a visit from Peter Pan, who takes them to Never Land, where an ongoing war between Peter's gang of rag-tag runaways and the evil Pirate Captain Hook is taking place.
This year we will once again be showcasing our student's talent with the Cabaret. Students will be able to feature their many talents, such as singing, dancing & performing short monologues! This is open to all Nicolet students and it gives them a chance to show their talent in their own unique way!
Student Directed One Acts
A time-honored tradition of Nicolet Theater, it is with much excitement that we present the culminating work of our Class of 2020 Seniors in a night (or two) of Student Directed One Acts. With plays reaching through an array of genres, this collection is sure to entertain audiences and honor the work of our graduating class.
A woman carries her heart, broken into nineteen pieces, in a small paper bag. A man shrinks to half his former size, after losing hope in love. A couple keep the love they have given each other in large red bags, or compress the mass into the size of a diamond. Relationships end, begin, or change beyond recognition, as strangers become friends, friends become lovers, and lovers turn into strangers.
